BLANDFORD Samuel. Lance Corporal, 10289, 5th, Dorsetshire Regiment. Died 22nd September 1915, aged 19 years. He was the son of James and Bertha of 7 Charlton, Ludwell, Shaftesbury, Dorset.
Some notes from what remains of his army record. He joined up on the 31st August 1914 aged 19 years and 3 months and was by occupation a game keeper. He died of Enteric Fever (Typhoid) in Malta 22nd September 1915. He had been inoculated against Typhoid.

WHITE David James. Private, 1585, 20th, Australian Infantry. Died of sickness, 22nd September 1915.

ROWE Douglas William. Private, 2249, 1/3rd East Anglian Field Ambulance, Royal Army Medical Corps, died 22nd September 1915, aged 19 years. He was the son of Percy and Lily Madeline Rowe, of 2 Greenholm Road, Eltham, London.
