William RUTTER who fell in action in the Dardanelles August 12th 1916, 25
(Information from his BURNT RECORD and CWGC. Name, William Thomas RUTTER. Corporal 10948, Yorkshire and Lancashire Regiment, killed in action at the Dardanells 12th August 1915.Son of William and Kate of 21. Old Fallow Road, Cannock formerly of 213 Globe Terrace, Cannock Road, Chadsmoor, Cannock, and husband of Alice Clipstone nee Hillery of 8 Lower Street, Holmes, Rotherham. At rest in Green Hill Cemetery, Turkey)
