- Ronald John WALKER. Steward L962422 Royal Navy on HMS Victorious. Born 29 August 1939 died 25th December 1958 aged 19 years.
Cause of death.
The ships motor boat (HMS Victorious) was pulling away from the Gozo landing steps about 20 yards off shore when the boat engine stopped. An examination found the body of Steward, Ronald Walker aged 19 years of HMS Victorious had become entangled in the propellor. Police and a diver from HMS Forth were called and recovered the body.
