Flight Lieutenant 142344, Roger Claud Vaughan Waters. 47, Squadron, Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve, killed while serving in the Royal Air Force in Burma on the 15th May 1945 aged 30. He was the son of Claud Dallinger Waters and Madeline nee Stockbridge of The Cottage, Chipping Sodbury, Gloucestershire. He is commemorated on his father's memorial in Chipping Sodbury Cemetery, Gloucestershire and also on the Singapore Memorial, Singapore
