- MEEK, Robert, 2nd Lieutenant, of the 5th British West Indies Regiment who died on active service at Gaza, Palestine on the 2nd October 1918 aged 39. He was the son of Robert Henry and Sarah Dunn Meek of Rowanwood, Park Lane, Macclesfield.
He is commemorated on a family memorial at Macclesfield Cemetery, Cheshire and is at rest in Gaza War Cemetery, Israel and Palestine.
