Robert NEILL. (k/a Robert Larmour Neill). Lieutenant, 5th attached to 1st Royal Irish Rifles
Born 16 July 1893 at 62 Wellington Park, Belfast to Sharman Dermot. and Anne Symonds Neill (nee Tomlin), later of Ardmoyle, Holywood, Co. Down. (Birth registered at Robert Neill)
1901 residing with his parents and siblings at 4 Martello Terrace, Holywood. He was named as Robert Larmour Neill.
1911 with his parents and siblings at 29 Ballycultra, Holywood. Occupation, scholar
Killed in action 9 May 1915 aged 21. His father was awarded a gratuity November 1915.
Commemorated on his parent’s grave in Holywood Cemetery, County Down also on the Ploegsteert Memorial, Belgium.

His brother James fell at the battle of the Somme.
