Formerly 40944 Acting Lance Corporal, 108th Field Ambulance (Downpatrick) Royal Army Medical Corps in the Great War
Born 18 September 1893 at Kinnegar, near Holywood, Belfast to Robert Lowey and Elizabeth Caven nee Taylor
He was in France on the 3 October 1915
London Gazette dated 17 June 1919. Awarded the Military Medal
Husband of Catherine nee Petticrew who he married 12 July 1920 at Saint Donard’s Church, at the crossroads of the Bloomfield and Beersbridge Roads, Belfast.
Died at 299 Albertbridge Road, Belfast 7 February 1965.
