Squadron Leader, Pilot, 72081 Robert GRAY, 63 Squadron, Royal Air Force died while flying a Mustang AM168 over Grinton, Richmond on the 4th October 1942 aged 27. when he collided with another Mustang while they were performing a practice dogfight. He lived at Angel Hotel, Catterick and was the husband of Elizabeth Mary He is at rest in Catterick Cemetery, Yorkshire
