SMITH, Robert Frederick. Private 200860, 158th Territorial Force, Depot, Royal Warwickshire Regiment died 8th November 1918 age 30. He was the son of Robert and Sarah Ann, nee Burkett of 432, Monument Road, Edgbaston, and he was the husband of Rosina Betsy Smith, of 3/64, Ruston St., Ladywood, Birmingham. In 1911 he was living with his wife and child at 3/64, Rushton Street. The child was called Rosina Maria born 1910 and she died in 1912. He is at rest in Whitnash Road, Cemetery, Leamington, Warwickshire.

He joined up on the 9th November 1914 and was posted as Private 3326, 5th Reserve Battalion, Royal Warwickshire Regiment. He was living at 3, back of 64, Rushton Street, Ladywood, Birmingham. He married Miss Rosina Betsy Boulton on the 24th October 1909. After he had completed his training he was posted to France. He embarked from Southampton on the 22nd March 1915 and disembarked the following morning at Harve. At some stage he was issued with a new army number. On the 9th February 1916 he was posted back to England, no record found that shows the reason of sending him back. On the 8th November 1918 he died of Pneumonia and Meningitis , no death location was shown but the address of 46, Rushmore Street, Leamington is recorded under his death entry. He leaves a widow and the following children.
