- COTTRELL Robert Edward. Stoker 1st Class, SS/111375, Royal Navy on HMS Cyclamen. (Fleet sweeping sloop) Born 16 September 1893 at Plumstead Kent enlisted 29 September 1911 on HMS Pembroke II. Occupation prior to enlistment, labourer. Died 11th November 1917 aged 24 from acute alcoholism and cardiac failure His widow Flora E E of 49 Jessie Road, Southsea Portsmouth was informed of his death. (CWGC list Cotterel)
