- Robert Cheney, of Langley Hall, Derbyshire, Lieutenant General in the army. Entered into service aged 17, into the 1st Regiment of Foot Guards. He died of typhus on the 8th March 1820 aged 54. He is at rest in the chancel of the church, (St Mary, Beverley, Yorkshire)
