Extended Description
ANDERSON Robert Charles Private 2350, 1/6th Manchester Regiment. Died of dysentery, 16th November 1915, aged 32 years. He was born at Levenshulme, Manchester and was the husband of Harriet Ellen nee Hodson, of 272 Stockport Road, Levenshulme, Manchester. Inscribed on the memorial. "The beloved husband of H E Anderson of Levenshulme, Manchester."

WARNES Donald George, Private, 2327, 1st Norfolk Yeomanry, died 12th November 1915, aged 22 years. The son of George and Jane E. Warnes, of Redenhall, Harleston, Norfolk

CROOK Lawrence. Corporal, 3437, 6th Battalion, Loyal North Lancashire Regiment. He was wounded in Gallipoli and died of his wounds in Malta on the 10th November 1915. Born at High Walton, Lancs.
Some notes from what remains of his army record. He enlisted at the age of 19 and 6 months, on the 31st August 1914. He lived with his parents Joseph and Alice at 9, Bridge Street, Higher Walton and by occupation was a weaver. He was promoted to Lance Corporal on the 10th April 1915 with the 3rd battalion and was posted to the 6th battalion in the field. On the 10th September 1915 he was posted to the Mediterranean Expeditionary Force and joined the 6th on the 26th September 1915 at the Dardanelles. He was shot in the chest, treated in the field and at some stage was sent to Malta where he died of Septicaemia on the 10th November 1915.
