Major General, Robert Arthur MONTGOMERY. C.B., C.V.O. Colonel Commandant Royal Artillery. Son of Hugh and Lady Charlotte Montgomery of Greyabbey. Born 7th September 1848, married 11th January 1881, died 19th November 1931.
And of
Maria Maud his wife, second daughter of Richard Gosling of Ecclesfield, Middlesex. Born 17th November 1855, died 29th May 1929.

In 1911 he was living with his wife at Pentre Plant Hall, Oswestry, Shropshire.
