Extended Description
Robert Alexander DUNN. 2nd Lieutenant, Australian Flying Corps died 13th August 1918 aged 24. Born on the 3rd February 1894 to Alexander and Margaret Dunn, of Numurkah, Victoria. At rest in Leighterton Church Cemetery, Gloucestershire.

He joined up aged 23 and 1 month on the 29th March 1917, occupation, managing clerk. He was posted to the 31st Reinforcements as private 38034, later gunner. On the 25th January 1918 he was appointed 2nd Lieutenant with the A.F.C. On the 13th August 1918. He was killed as the results of an aeroplane accident at Leighterton when the engine failed and crashed to earth. He was a pupil passenger under training from 8 Training Squadron. He died at the scene.
