Extended Description: Robert Alan BLAIR. Seaman Class 1 (SEA1) 3215850 USN. Born 1924 at Morning Sun Louisa, Iowa USA Merle Otto and Eve Laurene Blair. nee McDaniel. 1930 -1940 residing with his parents and siblings at 2nd Street, Columbus Junction, Louisa, Iowa. Enlisted into the U.S. Navy 1941 in Burlington, Vermont, USA. Killed by a guided bomb explosion on USS SAVANNAH and was flown to Malta along with 25 other men for burial.

Laid to rest in Plot P. Grave 17 Capuccini Military Cemetery, Malta.
Now at rest in Zachary Taylor National Cemetery, Louisville, Jefferson County, Kentucky, USA
