Richard George STANNARD. Petty Officer Stoker K29220, HMS Ceres. Born 2nd May 1892 at Southwold Suffolk to Frederick and Anna Maria Stannard nee Brown. In 1911 he was residing with his parents and siblings at 17 Sea View Road, Reydon, Southwold. Enlisted 16th September 1915 on HMS King Edward VII formerly served as SS113530 Royal Navy, Died 5th June 1929 on Hospital Ship Maine aged 37 years from pulmonary tuberculosis. His widow was informed of his death 8th June 1929
