- ARCHER Richard. Private 5750, C Coy, 2nd Battalion, Kings Own Yorkshire Light Infantry, died 27th January 1903, aged 29 years. He was native of Spothforth , Yorkshire, joined the army on the 24 May 1898, was the son of Samuel and was by occupation a Groom. His father was granted a gratuity 21 May 1903.
