ARCHER Richard. Private 5750, C Coy, 2nd Battalion, King’s Own Yorkshire Light Infantry,
Born 1874 at Stirlingfleet, Yorkshire to Samuel and Susan Archer. 1881 with his parents and siblings at Josuhua Lane Bentley, Yorkshire. 1891 he was employed as an agricultural labourer to George Abell, Farmer at Linch House, Gateforth, Yorkshire.
He was native of Spofforth, Yorkshire, Joined the army on the 24 May 1898 resided at Spofford, Yorkshire, occupation a Groom.
Died in Malta 27th January 1903, aged 29 years, His father was granted a gratuity 21 May 1903.
