- Reginald William BUTT. Air Mechanic 2nd Class 11522 Royal Flying Corps died at the War Hospital, Davidson Road, Croydon, Surrey on the 18th February 1916 aged 28. In 1911 he was living with his parents Eli and Elizabeth at High Street, Thornbury, Gloucestershire. He was an assistant in the family buisness His effects went to his father Eli Butt, grocer At rest in Thornbury Cemetery, Kington Lane, Thornbury, Gloucestershire. (not far from the parish church)
