Sergeant Raymond William DUNNINGHAM, 5th Suffolk Regiment. He was born on the 17th May 1919 and he lived at Church Farm, Raydon, Hadleigh, Suffolk. He enlisted on the 15th May 1939 and was captured in Singapore on the 15th February 1942.
He was in the following camps
Changi (Army Barracks) February 1942 to September 1942. Camp Leaders, Major General, Beckworth-Smith and Lt Col, Harris, Royal Artillery. Block Leader was Major, J H Harrison, S S K
Various Camps in Thailand, September 1942 - May 1944
Mitsushima, Japan, June 1944 to September 1945 Camp Leader Flight Lieutenant Rays, Royal Air Force.

He is commemorated on a paver beside the Far Eastern Prisoner of War Memorial Building, at the National Memorial Arboretum, Alrewas, Staffordshire.
