Private BOOTH, Royal Lancers, 1916
No Private BOOTH serving with the Royal Lancers is listed with the CWGC. He may have been medically discharged from the army and died as a civilian.
Or, it may have been the following, although no connection with Blythe Bridge or surrounding townlands have been found. Private Albert BOOTH, Private 6776, 2nd Dragoon Guards (Queens Bays) killed in action 26th January 1916 aged 20. Son of James and Jane Ann Booth, of 2, Grosvenor Rd., Hyde, Manchester. Commemorated on the Loos Memorial, Pas de Calais, France, also on a Poppy Cross at Blythe Bridge War Memorial, 8th November 2015.
