PIKE, George Richard, Private 159292, 3rd Machine Gun Corps, Infantry, formerly Pte, G/ 6497, Royal West Kent Regiment, died 7th July 1918 aged 32. Son of Mary Ann PIKE of 60, Emerald Avenue, East Ham, London and late Frederick, and the husband of Amy nee Clarke of 14, Wallnut Tree Place, Lambeth, London. His brother Edward served in the Great War in the Corps of Military Police as Lance Corporal 15810, he survived the war. George is buried in St Alban churchyard, Forest Town, Nottinghamshire
