HAGUE, Peter Birkett (DSC. MA.) Lieutenant, HMS Kingston, Royal Navy Volunteer reserve died 4th April 1942 aged 25. Son of Cecil Telford Hague and Edith Hague husband of Rosemary Frances Hague, of Chelsea, London. M.A. (Cantab.); Barrister-at-Law. (Wills and Admin. Ancestry. Home address Woodside Kilner Park Ulverston Lancashire. His effects went to Rosemary Frances Dickens Hague nee Shuckburgh. widow.

JACKSON-TAYLOR, Philip Stuart, Group Captain, Royal Air Force killed in an air crash of Lampedusa 1st February 1945

They lost their lives in the Country's Service, 1st February 1945 whilst travelling by air to attend the Crimea Confrence. The plane crashed into the sea
On 1st February, 1945, York MW.116, of No. 511 Squadron, en route for Yalta, owing to a navigational error came down off Lampedusa. Four members of the War Office staff, four of the Foreign Office and one of Scotland Yard lost their lives.
