Marine Paul WARREN 40. July 2010.

Paul WARREN. Marine P064885K, Charlie Coy, 40 Commando, Royal Marines was injured in an explosion when Patrol Base Airport Lounge was attacked by insurgents. Despite being given immediate first aid by his comrades, Marine Warren’s injuries proved to be fatal and died at the scene on the 21st June 2010. At rest in St Andrews Parish Church burial ground, Leyland, Lancashire Grave XF19

This poppy cross memorial was at the Basra Memorial at the National Memorial Arboretum, Alrewas, Staffordshire on the 12th November 2015
