The part of a war memorial near the Millennium Chapel at the National Memorial Arboretum, Alrewas, Staffordshire.

Watchman, William Charles MOITIE, Merchant Navy of S.S. Arandora Star (London) died at sea on the 2nd July 1940 ahed 60. He was the husband of Julia of Shirley, Southampton. The ship was torpedoed by U-47 and sunk on the 2nd instant. The ship had on board 734 male Italian internees and 565 German prisoners of war and civilian internees, was torpedoed and sunk on the 2nd instant. 264 Italians and 322 Germans were saved. He is commemorated on the Tower Hill Memorial, London.

Pilot Officer100584 Peter Ethelbert Merrick ROBINSON, 56 Squadron, Royal Air Force died 17th June 1941 aged 27. He was the son of Herbert and Ethel Mary of Harrow, Middlesex. He is at rest in St Andrew's Churchyard, North Weald Bassett, Essex.

Fireman Anthony SUNCHSUN, Merchant Navy on S.S.Tacoma Star (London) died at sea on the 1st February 1942 aged 26. The ship was sunk by U-109. There were no survivors. He is commemorated on the Tower Hill Memorial, London.
