CROSS, William, Gunner 113277, 280th Siege Battery, Royal Garrison Artillery, died 1st July 1917 aged 31. Son of William Thomas of Woodstock, Oxford and husband of Laura of 90. Bassett Street, Woodgate, Leicester. Buried in Kandahar Farm Cemetery, Belgium.
FORTY, Valentine James, Private 19679, 2nd Gloucestershire Regiment, died of wounds in Salonika 4th November 1916 aged 30. Son of Henry and Mary of 41. Randolph Street, Cowley Road, Oxford. Buried in Lahana Military Cemetery, Greece.
PEARSON, Wilfrid Hearne, 2nd Lieutenant, Northern Cyclist Battalion, Army Cyclist Corps, attched to 57th Machine Gun Corps (Infantry), killed in action 29th September 1918. Son of Arthur Pearson, M.A., and Eunice Mary of Sherwood House, 59. Banbury Road, Oxford and husband of Daisey Beatrice. Buried in Anneux British Cemetery, France.

WEBB, Walter Joseph, Private 15580, 10th Gloucestershire Regiment, died 13th October 1915 aged 23. Son of Walter James and Elizabeth of University Cottages, Sutton, Eynsham, Oxfordshire. Commemorated on the Loos Memorial, France.
BEAUCHAMP John Charles, Guardsman 9783, 2nd Grenadier Guards, died of wounds 25th September 1916. Native of St Marys Oxford. Commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial, Somme, France.
AMOS, Albert Lewis, 2nd Lieutenant, South Wales Borderers, formerly Private 42950, Royal Fusiliers. Promoted to 2nd Lieutenant 25th February 1915. Died of wounds 30th January 1921. Husband of A L Amos, of Town House, Bredwardine, Herefordshire. His brother William Vincent Amos also came up through the ranks. Private 19, Royal Fusiliers and Lieutenant with the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry, applied for his medals. His address was 4. Oatlands Road, Oxford.
