BEAUMONT, Albert Harry, Corporal 1383, 8th Division, Cyclist Coy, Army Cyclist Corps, died 11th March 1915. Commemorated on the Le Touret Memorial, France
He enlisted 23rd August 1904 as Private 9578, Notts and Derby Regiment. He was appointed Lance Corporal on the 19th December 1906, He was posted to the 3rd Battalion as Corporal on the26th February 1910. On the 29th March 1911 he extended his service with the colours to complete 12years service. Promoted to Sergeant on he 22nd September 1912
Next entry found was as Private with the Army Cyclist Coy on the 8th February 1915, He was killed in action with the rank of corporal. He had served 10years and 201 days. He was the son of Joe Kerr and Emma Ann of Cemetery Road, Ollerton
