Oliver Henry EDGECOMBE

Oliver Henry EDGECOMBE. Able Seaman 166826 Royal Navy on HMS Indefatigable. Born 17th March 1876 at Dungaston, Wicklow, son of Michael and Trisene Crocer Edgecombe enlisted 17th May 1892, occupation prior to enlistment, gardener. In 1901 he was in Hong Kong on HMS Ocean. In 1911 Died in a hospital in Malta 26th February 1914 aged 38 years from acute bronchitis and organic heart failure (myocardial oedema). His sister was informed of his death 27th February 1914.
