- Oldrich Kestler. Sergeant Pilot 787527 Royal Air Force VR with 605 Squadron RAF
Born 1913 in Czechoslovakia.
On 7th April 1941, flying from Tern Hill in Hurricane Z2318, he collided with a Spitfire, P8315, flown by another Czech pilot, Sgt. Martinec of 24 MU. Both men were killed. He was aged 28 years
At rest in Market Drayton Cemetery, Shropshire
He was awarded the Czech Military Cross (gazetted 15th July 1941).
