STOPFORD James, Colonel (Brigadier General) C.B., killed at Reshire 9th december 1856. The war with Persia. He served with distinction in Candahar & Affghanistan 1841-2. He was shot dead when he and his men were ascending an embankment to an Old Dutch Fort of Reshire, where he was shot dead as he reached the top

WILSON Nicholas, Colonel K.H., killed at Cawnpore during the Indian Mutiny. Born 31st March 1795 at Sledagh, County Wrexford Ireland died 28th November 1857 aged 62

STIRLING Thomas, Major shot and was killed at Cawnpore 28th November 1857

SIBLEY Charles William, Lieutenant Colonel died 1st September 1859

McCREA Richard Charles, Captain, cut down at the guns and killed at cawnpore, 28th November 1857

KNOX William, Lieutenant, died 18th October 1857
