Nellie Josephine ENRIGHT RCAF Flight Lieutenant (Matron) C4679 RCAF

Born 14 September 1884 at Ottawa, Ontario to John Charles and Alice Enright, nee McCurley.

Notes from her service records -
Enlisted 26 February 1940 at St Thomas, Ontario
Previously served in WW 1 1914-1919 at No1 Canadian General Hospital, No3 Canadian General Hospital, and No33 and 45 British Casuality Clearing Stations.
WW 2
16 November 1940 Matron at No1 Technical Training School, St Thomas, Royal Canadian Air Force.
18 August 1941 Matron at R.C.A.F. Station Hospital Gander, Newfoundland.
09 February 1942 at R.C.A.F. Station Hospital Dartmouth, Nova Scotia
01 December 1942 to 20 December 1941 on a course at No 6, Manning Depot, School of Aviation Nursing, she failed the course.
21 December 1942 at Station Dartmouth, retired, non-medical grounds to her residence at 91 Gilmour Steet, Ottawa, Ontario.

Died 23 April 1947 aged 63.

At rest in Notre Dame Roman Catholic Cemetery, Ottawa.
