NELL, Edward Walter

Captain, Edward Walter Nell, late Gloucestershire Regiment, eldest son of William Walter and Frances Elizabeth of The Grange, Wenvoe, Glamorgan, formerly of Birdwood Cottage, Huntley, Gloucestershire. He was married to Edith Jane nee Allen who in 1911 were residing at Pen-y-Bryn, Old Hereford Road Monmouth. He died at Charnwood House, Barn Wood Road, Gloucester City on the 1st January 1940 aged 70 and is buried in St Andrews churchyard, Churcham, Gloucestershire. He saw service in the Great War.
