NAAFI SHOPPING PERMIT

This permit was issued to all service personnel and their families and was used for collecting duty free goods from the NAAFI while stationed in Germany.

The acronym NAAFI stands for; Navy, Army, Air
Forces Institute. The rules of use are on the next photo.

The date stamp reads Orderly Room, 23 Jan 1975, 29 Field Ambulance.

Hi Drone-pilot,

The ration for married accompanied for corporals and below was:
Cigarettes 140 per week for males
120 for females
Tea 8oz per person per week
Coffee 8oz per person per week
Instant coffee 8oz per person per week
Whisky or Gin 1 bottle per month

Sergeants had to obtain their whisky and Gin from the Mess.
