ATC on the USS Harry S. Truman during Operation SOUTHERN WATCH
Extended Description
An Air Traffic Controlman keeps aircraft on course during night flight operations with the use of ship's radar on board USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75). TRUMAN is on station in the Arabian Gulf in support of Operation SOUTHERN WATCH (OSW). OSW is the mission that enforces the coalition imposed southern "no-fly zone" over Iraq. OSW was the first operation conducted by the TRUMAN.
