Based on its history, this truck entered along with the Scorpion and Stormer tanks being bought by the Indonesian government, including the purchase package, Bedford MT and Leyland DROPS Tank Transporters (Demountable Rack Offload and Pickup System).
Leyland DROPS itself is a truck developed by Scammel Motor to meet the needs of the British armed forces, this truck was then coded Scammel S26, during the production period no less than 1522 units of this truck have been produced.
