Son of Samuel & Rachel Brain of Fulford, Staffs and husband of Florence nee Evans of 31 Stallington Road, Blyth Bridge, Staffs. He was married in 1904. Buried at Dosinghem Military Cemetery, Belgium This memorial have him listed as Sergeant
