Born 20 August 1886 in Winnipeg, Canada, eldest daughter of George William, K.C. and Jeannie Baker of 375 River Avenue Winnipeg, Canada.
Graduated as nurse at St Lukes Hospital, New York in 1915 for three years.
Her next of kin was her brother, Major Edwin Godfrey Phipps Baker of the Bank of Montreal, at 47 Threadneedle, London. She gave that address as her residence in 1916.
Engaged to Charles Herbert Dore.
Died at No 15 Canadian General Hospital, Taplow Buckinghamshire. bronchopneumonia 17 October 1918 aged 32. At rest in Cliveden War Cemetery, Buckinghamshire.

Enlisted 26 September 1916 at London England as Staff Nurse 2RessB/1592 QAIMNSR and was posted to Fort Pitt Military Hospital, Chatham, Kent. She served nearly one year. She resigned on the 15 October 1917 and was posted to C.A.M.C. Depot Shorncliffe, Kent.
01 November 1917 duty at 16 Canadian Hospital, Orpington, Kent
14 March 1918 duty at No. 15 Canadian General Hospital, (Duchess of Connaught’s Red Cross) Hospital, Taplow, Buckinghamshire.
She fell ill 22 August 1918 with inflammation of the bladder and was admitted as patient in her hospital. She was discharged on the 3 September abut re-admitted later that day suffering from influenza.
Died in her hospital from bronchopneumonia 17 October 1918 aged 32.
