Born 25 February 1912 at Brighton, South Australia to Adolph John Walter and Elsie Victoria Dorsch, of 137 Brighton Road Hove, South Australia.
Died 15 February 1942 aged 29 as a result of the Banka Island Massacre.
Commemorated on the Singapore Memorial, Singapore.
Included in the Nurses’ War Memorial Chapel in Westminster Abbey, London

She enlisted as Staff Nurse 21 June 1940 at Keswick, South Africa and 28 years.
09 January 1941 she was called up she was posted as Staff Nurse to for duty to No 4, Casuality Clearing Station (A.I.F.)
16 January 1941 she was granted embarkation leave for six days
03 February 1941 embarked from Australia on ship H.M.T.Q.X. (Queen Mary) with 2/4 Casuality Clearing Station for Singapore. Disembarked Singapore 18 February 1942 and was detached to 2/9 Field Ambulance.
07 May 1941 attached to 2/4th Casuality Clearing Station.
She was commissioned to Sister, Grade 1, on the 09 January 1942
12 February 1942 she embarked Singapore, bound for Australia.
Millicent's two brothers both served throughout the Second World War in the Royal Australian Navy.
