I was coming home from dropping my daughter off in Milwaukee,Wisconsin and Milford,Illinois on state route 1 is on my way home and I had never photograph our local buzz bomb before.Milford is a little farm town of several thousand that is about 35 miles north of my house. So I stopped at a local Pub and came out of there drive and there it was, like karma. The bomb has a very checkered history, as to and how it got there. I do know several years back a spirited individual offered to knock out the dings and re- paint it , and it was gone for over 10 years before they caught him. It sits now in the front yard of the Milford High School back in its old resting spot.
