Melvin James SIMPSON

Extended Description: Private 24244664 Melvin James SIMPSON was shot dead on 8th October 1984 aged 40 He was shot at his workplace, a building site, Ann Street, Dungannon, County Tyrone. ex-Ulster Defence Regiment. He is at rest in St James Churchyard, Moy, County Tyrone.
On this plaque his army number is the same as Robert Irwin. which is incorrect. This matter was reported when I visited the Arboretum on the 11th August 2014. It will be corrected at some later day.
