Meir, Wilfred Ault

Commemorated on a family memorial in Burslem Cemetery, Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire

Captain, B. Coy, 8th North Staffordshire Regiment, died 10th April 1918 aged 24. Mentioned in Despatches. Son of Joseph and Edith Meir, of "The Barn," Grosvenor Place, Wolstanton, Staffs and brother of Gilbert. M.Sc., Beyer Fellow of the University of Manchester. Buried at Wulverghem Lindenhoek Road Military Cemetery, Heuvelland, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium.
