Sergeant 2344, 1/6th Sherwood Foresters, Notts and Derby Regiment killed in action at Ypres, Belgium. 19th September 1915 aged 37. Husband of Maria of 80, Spital Lane, Chesterfield and is a native of Letterkenny, County Donegall Eire. He also served in the South African Boer War. Commemorated on his wife's memorial at Spital Cemetery, Chesterfield, Derbyshire and is buried at Chester Farm Cemetery, Belgium
