BEAVER Maxwell Keith. Private, 371, 4th Battalion, Australian Infantry. Died of his wounds to his thorax, 9th June 1915. Born at Muswellbrook, New South Wales to Edward William and Honorah Beaver. He joined up on the 20th August 1914 aged 20 years and 3 months, he was working in a flour mill prior to his enlistment. His next of kin was his father of 172 New Youth Head Road, Double Bay, Sydney, previous address was 33 Henry Street, Waverley, Sydney. He embarked for the Mediterranean Expeditionary Force on H.M.A.T. A14, Euripides on the 20th October 1914. He was shot and wounded in the thorax at the Dardanelles and invalided to Malta on Hospital Ship, Soudan on the 25th May 1915 and admitted into Military Hospital, Valletta where he died of his wounds.
WARD Thomas Henry. Sapper, 940, 2nd East Lancashire Field Coy., Royal Engineers, He was wounded at Gallipoli and died in Malta 8th June 1915. He was the husband of Amy Ward, of 12 Laburnum Street, Smedley Road, Cheetham, Manchester.
FRASER John Robert. Private, 1324/A, 15th Battalion, Australian Infantry. Died of his wounds, 10th June 1915, aged 27 years. The son of Alexander and Annie Fraser, of Gipp Street, Wollongong, New South Wales. "In memory of the loved son of Mr & Mrs A Fraser of Wollongong"
