MEADOWS Martin. Private 26387, 1st South Staffordshire Regiment. Fell in action in France on the 2nd April 1917 aged 36. He was the son of Martin and Lucy of the Cottage Abbott\'s Manor, Holbeach, Lincolnshire. He was the husband of Lois Annie who in 1911 were living as a family at 114, Ashley Street, Bilston, Staffordshire . He was working as a tram driver. He is commemorated on his wife and only child\'s memorial at Bentley Cemetery, Willenhall, Staffordshire and he also on the Arras Memorial, France
