Extended Description
BOSSCHORAST Martin. Fireman and Trimmer, Mercantile Marine, died 21st May 1917 from injuries received when his ship was sunk by torpedo. He was on board S.S. Ampleforth which was sunk by Uboat U065 15 miles WSW of Gozo Island near Malta whilst sailing from Cardiff to Alexandria with a cargo of coal and aeroplanes. Four crew were lost, three at sea and the other in hospital, Malta .

At rest in Plot C Grave 346 Capuccini Naval Cemetery, Malta.
