Extended Description: Margaret Jane FORTESCUE k/a Daisy, (Mentioned in Despatches) Sister CAMC. Hospital Ship Llandovery Castle. Born 23 June 1878 at York Factory, Manitoba. Sister of Miss G. Fortescue of Montreal, Quebec. . Drowned at sea when her ship was torpedoed by German U-Boat U-86 27 June 1918 aged 40. Commemorated on the Halifax Memorial, Nova Scotia, Canada.
