Malcolm McCracken MAGEE, Private 3347568, 6th Canadian Garrison Regiment died 11th December 1918 aged 31. He was the second son of Malcom McCacken Magee and Margaret Magee, of Gortmerron, Bloomfield, Belfast. He is commemorated on his parents memorial in Dundonald Cemetery, County Down , and was laid to rest in Fort Massey Military Cemetery, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.
His brother Alexander also fell in 1915 while serving with the 8th Royal Irish Rifles.

Born 23 November 1888 in Belfast, Ireland. His father was his next of kin and he resided at Dort Marron, Bloomfield, Belfast.
He resided at 641 Elgin Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada and his occupation was a teamster (working with horses and bullocks pulling carts)
He enlisted 11 January 1918 into the 1st Manitoba Regiment at Winnipeg. Admitted into Depot Military Hospital, Halifax on the 4 December 1918 and died on the 11 of December of influenza and bronchopneumonia at 3.20 pm
