G060 MABEL EDITH GRIGSON. Nursing Sister, Queen Alexandra’s Royal Naval Nursing Service, Royal Naval Hospital Bighi. Born 24th November 1884 to George and Esther Eva Grigson, nee Webb. 1891 and 1901 she was residing with her parents and siblings at Harold House, Clacton on Sea, Essex. 1911 residing with her widowed mother and siblings still at the same address. Occupation Probationer Sick Nurse. Died at her place of employment, a Military Hospital, 3rd October 1918 aged 35 years from Gastric Dysentry and Heart Failure. Medals issued - 1914-1915 Star and Victory Medal. Wills and Admin, Ancestry - Her effects went to her sister Lilian Sarah Horniblew wife of Arthur Henry Horniblew. Memorial erected by her friends at Bighi Hospital.
