William LOUGH. Junior Engineer Officer. Merchant Navy on M.V. Cingalese Prince (London) Lost at sea as the result of enemy action on the 20th September 1941 aged 29. The ship was torpedoed and sunk by U-111. He was the son of Alexander and Elizabeth and brother of Robert (Bob) who fell in 1916. He is commemorated on a family memorial at Dundonald Cemetery, County Down, Northern Ireland and also on the Tower Hill Memorial, London.
