DELMAR-WILLIAMSON George Frank. Lieutenant, Royal Highlanders [Black Watch] he was attached to the Royal Air Force, and gained his wings. he served at the front in France and was commended for his reconnaissance and photography work, promoted to temporary Captain. Invalided home with concussion in September 1917 and was appointed an instructor on his recovery at Wiltshire aerodrome where he was accidentally killed while flying over Wiltshire with Captain Douglas Ridley Clunes Gabell, of Swindon Village near Leckhampton Gloucestershire on the 12th July 1918 aged 19. Son of Frederick & Emily of Firs Lodge Leckhampton. Native of London and is buried at St Peters Churchyard, Leckhampton. Commemorated on the Roll of Honour in the parish church
WARD Charles Albert James. Lieutenant, Indian Army Reserve of Officers attached to the censors department died in, Hospital Vita Red Sea, on the 15th December 1918 aged 51. Son of George and Mary Ward; husband of Ada Grace Ward, nee Hall of Leckhampton, Cheltenham. Served in the South African Campaign as Lt. and Adjt. in Brabant's Horse Commemorated on the Roll of Honour in the parish church and also on the Jerusalem memorial, Israel
